Low sugar Almond Cake

Tried this and was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it is.

I reduced the total sugar to 4.5 tablespoons in total as don't like things too sweet. I used a square tin that was slightly too large so the cake was fairly thin.

Will definitely be making it again.

Btw How do you convert blocks of palm sugar into a form to use in your recipes?

Thanks for submitting the palm sugar amounts you used–that will help others.

I usually use granulated palm sugar these days, but in the past I used the solid blocks by grating on a hand grater.
