Gluten Free Restaurants are a real treat for people with gluten sensitivity. Being able to order anything off the menu gives you a real sense of confidence. You know you aren’t going to get contaminated food and risk your health by eating out. It allows you to relax and enjoy yourself.
There are some pretty amazing looking restaurants in this list! Help me make this the best list by sharing your favorite gluten free restaurant.
Some restaurants famous for being gluten free aren’t 100% GFree, but most of their items are available GFree, like Risotteria in New York. These are listed in the next section.
Gluten Free Restaurants in the United States
Natural Food Works’ Farmer’s Kitchen Café in Davis California, is 100% casein and gluten free. They serve many baked goods including bread, bagels, pies, cakes, cookies and brownies, as well as ravioli, pastas, tamales, quiche, pizza and entrées. Only free range meats and sustainable fish are available. Their homemade pastas and baked goods are available for purchase onsite, or you can order them online.
Some sample items include pancakes, omelets, corn tortillas, and home fries at breakfast; Saturday and Sunday brunch you’ll find french toast; lunch and dinner menus include many salads, soups with home made breadsticks, and a variety of sandwiches and entrées. And if you have any room left, their desserts and pastries sound incredible. As a bonus, they are pet friendly on the patio, weather permitting of course. Note: they do serve oats at breakfast. Gluten Free Restaurants in Canada
A Tasty Menu: Gluten Free Gourmet in Calgary Canada, is 100% gluten free. They serve everything from waffles, pancakes and breakfast buns to pizza, burgers and other sandwiches, and breaded chicken and pork dishes. The dessert of the day may be cake, pie, or brownies.
Panne Rizo is located in Vancouver BC, and is 100% gluten free. The café serves soups, sandwiches, savory pies, panini sandwiches, pasta, and desserts. Their bakery looks incredible, and you can order many items online, including some dairy and sugar free options.
Risotteria Restaurant in New York City is famous for it’s wide range of gluten free breadsticks, Panini sandwiches, risotto dishes, pizza and desserts. Nearly everything on the menu is available gluten free. Tuesday is gluten free pasta day. Frozen pizzas, ciabatta doughs, breadsticks, soups and sauces, as well as pre-made mixes, are available for sale at the restaurant and by mail order.
